Sorry for the silence yesterday. I had too much fun drinking one dollar Yuengling Black & Tans at the baseball field in Clearwater. I’m in love with that place now.

I bought a floral midi skirt a while ago, and I needed some style inspiration. It’s very important, with a skirt this length, to keep one’s legs from looking like stubby sausages. Very important, indeed. The answers appear to be tucked in tees, waist-cinching belts, and neutral, leg-lengthening shoes.

Love these. Related note: I am head over heels in love with florals. It’s bad. Really bad. Bought a floral print Cath Kidston bag and passport cover (for our Canada adventures), a floral print backpack from Target, and two floral print dresses from ModCloth all within the past two months. And now I keep wanting to wear them all together, but that’s super over-the-top inappropriate. Ughhhh. Must…let go….of the flower power….
